“I’m looking forward to this challenge as it’s a step up from Kilimanjaro in terms of height and technical ability. I am, of course, a little apprehensive about the technical challenges and potentially having to put some of the skills learnt on the winter skills training to the test in a real environment but also excited about trying out the new skills I’ve learnt. It’s the start of 3 big trips which are all steps in the direction of where I ultimately want to get to”
